In your work on preparing your tickets, we process your personal information - that is, information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a particular person, eg with you.

Because there is a theoretical possibility that, for example, state authorities such as the court or the police could order us to link our data with others, which could eventually lead to the disclosure of your name, etc., we behave to these data as if it were for you important and in line with the GDPR Directive.

This means that we only store them as much as we really need for the above reasons. We only store them for as long as necessary. And they are secured so that even in the event of their escape it is not abusive and it has no unfortunate consequences for you.

This implies that data is encrypted wherever possible so that anyone can read it. Only employees who are in need of their work have access to the data. And they are also instructed how to handle the data.

## What data we consider to be personal

By law, personal data is any data that is linked or can be legally associated with a particular individual.

From the nature of our work, we usually work with names, surnames, dates of birth, and other information needed to book your ticket or other services, including accommodation, and at the same time protect you from possible misuse of your personal information for travel by another unauthorized person. we can get in touch with data that can specifically identify an individual, and we can get in touch with other data that could be used to identify them. ### IP addresses

Each time you enter any web site, your computer will begin to send information and data to the computer (server) on which the site is located.

Just like we do, we need address and routing numbers to send letters, and computers need it. Each of them, even yours, has their IP address to send to other computers on the Internet.

The IP address looks like this: 192.168.45.12

This is not the actual address of your home or apartment, but only the number that the computers will know when communicating with each other and without which the internet would not work.

Even though we do not know much about this IP address, the courts have previously decided that this should be seen as personal. This is because, in conjunction with other data, courts or the police or other state authorities could have derived from your IP address the address of your home or apartment.

It is important to realize that almost every website is now composed of many smaller parts, just like the puzzle piece is composed of many pieces. Each of these parts can be processed by another computer (server). With one page visit, your IP address can receive many different computers in many different locations around the world.

In the case of our clients, the site may consist of its own content, such as flight offers, accommodation, insurance, etc. from articles, videos and advertising space. When you enter that site, the IP address of your computer will see not just your client but ours.

Where it is not necessary, we try not to keep the entire IP address. E.g. so we discard the last number of this address. This will prevent any connection with your computer. It's similar to removing the last number from your home address or zip code. Any shipment would still be delivered to the right city, but not to the right home.

However, it is not always possible. In some cases, such as finding an internet pest or cheater, we need a full IP address.

In cases where we process a full IP address, we treat this IP address and all data associated with it as personal data.

You can not prevent forwarding IP addresses because it is required for the Internet to function as such. If you want, you can hide your real IP address using specialized services. Even these services will see your real IP address.

The company flymeto EUROPE s. r. o., - hereinafter referred to as flymeto EUROPE - was founded as a travel agency in mid-2016. From the very beginning, it has been a proud member of the international association of air carriers **IATA**.

At the beginning, flymeto EUROPE focused on providing all the necessary business, technological and partnership relationships necessary for further development. ## Check-in

You need to do a check-in to get your airplane boarding pass. The check-in can
be done online or on the airport. Some carriers charge an extra fee for an
on-airpot check-in, so we recommend you to check this with your concrete flight
carrier. You should be on the airport 2 hours in advance, at least.

## Online check-in

Online check-in can be done on the web pages of your flight carrier, after you
log in to your reservation. To log in, you will have something like 6-digit
reservation code (for example AB1C2D), which you have got with your flight
carrier itinerary. To fill-in, you will need a id documents (passport, ID card
...), which will be used during a travel by you. After that, system will provide
you with a boarding pass, which you should printout.

## Airport check-in

The counter check-in starts usually 2 hours in advance and ends 40 minutes
before the flight leaves. Your counter number will be displayed on the departure
board.

## Baggage

There is a carry-on baggage included in your air ticket fee. You should check
the exact allowed dimensions and weight of this baggage on your flight carrier
pages. If the checked baggage (which is carried in the cargo compartment) is not
in the ticket price, it is usually possible to buy it on the Internet after
login to your reservation or to the airport, where the purchase is more
expensive. More carriers offer basic flights only with hand luggage these days,
even in long-distance flights.

## Flight information

If you want to have information about your flight (delay or cancellation), we
recommend you to register your flight at checkmytrip.com (you can not enter low
cost carrier flights). All changes on your flight will be sent to you via mail.
If the flight is canceled just before departure, contact the airline, or try to
find its representation directly at the airport.

## Seating and other services

Seats and services such as food, special assistance, etc. can be purchased after
you log in to your reservation.

How to proceed if I have a ticket

## Indemnity limit 3&nbsp;000&nbsp;CZK

The limit is the maximum amount the insurer pays to the insured.

The insured has 20% participation. Examples:

1. Cancellation of a ticket of 3&nbsp;000&nbsp;CZK participation 20% is 600&nbsp;CZK and Česká pojišťovna's payment is 2&nbsp;400&nbsp;CZK.
2. At a ticket price of 4.000&nbsp;CZK, 20% will be deducted, ie 800 CZK. Pojišťovna pays a&nbsp;limit **3&nbsp;000&nbsp;CZK**.

## The procedure to apply cancellation of airticket

The insured shall apply the following procedure:

1. **Print the form** [Oznámení pojistné události z pojištění storna cesty](https://www.generaliceska.cz/) **and duly complete** it. The form is also available on pages of Česká pojišťovna, follow the links škody a&nbsp;pojistné události/oznámit škodu/cestovní pojištění/písemně.
2. **Attach a copy of the air ticket**, proof of payment &mdash; statement of the bank account, submit any additional documents &mdash; medical report, testimony, death certificate, etc.
3. Send all documents **to the liquidation department** of Česká pojišťovna recommended as registered letter at:

Insurance of air tickets cancellation

In the case of a right to a guarantee without a surcharge, you will be refunded the amount that corresponds to the price paid on the day of purchase for non-flown flights.

## When can I claim the warranty

- In the event of a flight change, delay or cancellation by the airline for reasons other than force majeure (see below), you will not be able to make a follow-up flight and will not be able to offer you an alternative flight.
- Your luggage will be delayed, and you will not be able to make a follow-up flight.
- Immigration and customs control will take too long, and you will not be able to make a follow-up flight.

## When it is not possible to claim a guarantee

- Links between two flights with the same PNR.
- You will not be able to check in on time.
- You do not have visas or travel documents needed at the airport during a stopover.
- You will not be allowed to board an aircraft due to violation of the carrier's terms and conditions.

## Booking a ticket

### How do I know I have a ticket booked?

You will receive a confirmation email no later than 2 hours after booking. Therefore, it is necessary to fill in the e-mail that you actually use when booking.

### I still haven't received a confirmation email. Do I have a ticket booked?

Check the Spam and Bulk folder in the email. If you can't find it there either, contact our customer support immediately on chat or phone. It is possible that there was a typo when entering the e-mail and it needs to be corrected.

### What if we travel in a larger group?

The maximum group size is 9 people. You must make a reservation for all members of the group at once. Separate bookings cannot later be merged into one. You must then pay for all tickets at once, otherwise all reservations will be forfeited.

## Payment

### How can I pay for a ticket?

You can pay for your ticket in several ways:

- _By credit card_ - via a secure payment gateway immediately upon booking
- _Essens Virtual Wallet_ - commissions in a virtual wallet

### How and where do I get my ticket?

The ticket will be sent to you electronically to the e-mail address you provided in the reservation. You do not have to print the ticket. To get on the plane, you only need a printed boarding pass, which you get on the basis of the ticket after check-in - either separately online or at the airport. However, you can also pick up your ticket at our office.

### If I don't have a boarding pass on the way to the airport, then what will I show at the check-in counter?

At the airport, it is also possible to get a boarding pass at the check-in counter or at check-in machines. At the counter, you can prove yourself with the travel document specified in the order. For vending machines, you can start check-in by entering the reservation code.

### Why do I have to pay for my ticket by 9:00 today? Is not it a mistake?

The given ticket price can always be guaranteed only on the same day. Therefore, it is necessary for the money to come to the account by this time, otherwise the reservation will not take place. If you are worried that the transfer will not be fast enough, the payment card is sure.

### If I can't pay for my ticket on time, can the due date be extended?

The due date cannot be extended, because then we cannot guarantee the same ticket price. But our customer support can try to repeat the reservation. Contact them via chat or phone.

## Ticket and check-in

### Is a ticket or boarding pass more important?

The ticket serves as a confirmation of your flights and contains instructions for check-in and transfers. Based on it, you will receive a boarding pass after check-in. Unlike the ticket, it must always be printed and only you will be let on the plane with it.

### What is online check-in?

If you have to check in online for your flight, you will find out from the purchased ticket. You can check in yourself and avoid standing in line at the airport. But don't forget to print out the boarding pass that you will have after check-in and take it with you.

### What if I have to be checked in at the airport?

If you cannot check in online in advance, find your airline check-in desk at the airport. There, your luggage will be checked in based on your electronic ticket.

### How many hours before departure do I have to be at the airport?

It depends on the specific airport and route. By default, however, it should be enough to arrive at the airport entrance 2 hours before departure on European routes and on ocean routes, preferably 3 hours before departure. If you use online check-in, you can even later, but always well in advance so that you get to the right gate on time.

### All I need is a mobile boarding pass to board the plane?

For low-cost lines, just show a ticket from a mobile phone. You will only be admitted to other airlines with a printed boarding pass.

### They shifted my flight. What should I do?

If the change of flight does not endanger any of your other connections, you will have to endure the change. However, if you do not make the transfer and the next flight, please contact our customer support for assistance.

## Visas, vaccinations and documents

### Where can I find out if I need a visa?

### Is it true that I also need a visa to transfer?

Before booking, find out which countries you are flying through. If you change on your way and have to have your luggage checked in again, you leave the transit zone and find yourself in the territory of a foreign country to which you may need a visa. If this is the case, you must secure it in advance.

### Where can I know if I need vaccinations?

If you are flying within the European Union, a valid ID or driver's license should suffice. However, some member countries have their own rules, so check in advance if you do not need a passport, on the website of the embassy of the country or on the website of the [Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic](https://www.mzv.cz/jnp/cz/index.html) . ## Luggage

### What's the difference between hand luggage and checked baggage?

Hand luggage is such that every passenger, except for infants, can take on board. Its maximum permitted dimensions and weight are different for each airline (usually 6-12 kg) and you can find out from the ticket. Checked or sub-hold baggage is handed in at your airline counter before departure and travels in the hold of the aircraft. So you don't have access to it on the plane.

### How do I know if my baggage is included in the ticket price?

You can see the number, maximum size and weight of all luggage that you have in the price of the ticket when booking. Low-cost airlines do not have checked baggage in the ticket price and it is necessary to be satisfied only with a handbag or pay extra for baggage when booking or when checking in online.

### Do I really have to pick up and check my luggage at every transfer?

Not always. If you have all the flights on one ticket and from the same company, your luggage will probably only be transferred from one plane to another. However, if you have two separate tickets, you must pick up your luggage and have it checked in again at the company arranging your second flight. Exceptions are flights to or from the USA. You always have to pick up your luggage, go through it with immigration and passport control and then put it on the universal luggage belt. Information on which transfers you have to check in your luggage is on your ticket. To be on the safe side, you can also ask at the airport check-in desk.

### I want to carry excess or special luggage. Can I get on every plane?

If you want to transport surfboards, pets, musical instruments, bicycles, sports equipment or fragile handicrafts, you need to order their transport before departure. It's late at the airport. Some companies do not transport them at all, others with restrictions. Contact our customer support via chat or phone before booking your ticket.

### My luggage was delayed or lost. Am I entitled to compensation?

If the airline loses, damages or delays your luggage, it can provide you with a maximum refund of approximately CZK 33,000. However, this only applies if the airline has not taken all necessary measures to prevent the damage or if it has not been possible to take it. You must report damage to your luggage no later than 7 days after receipt. You can file a luggage delay complaint within 21 days at the latest. You must file a complaint directly with the airline at the airport.

### What can't I take on board?

Of course, dangerous things like compressed gases, flammable substances, weapons, lighters, sharp objects or sports equipment such as golf clubs, baseball bats, bowling balls, cues, hockey sticks and ski poles. It is not very convenient to own food either, because you may encounter the internal rules of the airlines or the export and import restrictions of the country you are flying to.

### What can I have in my carry-on luggage on board?

You can carry medicines (tablets) in quantities appropriate for personal use. However, special medicines such as inhalers or injections must be kept in the original packaging and with a prescription in English.

### Can I take a drink or lotion in my carry-on luggage?

You can take a maximum of 1 liter of liquid per person on board. And it is still divided into containers not larger than 100 ml. For example, if you intend to take shampoo in a 250 ml bottle, even if there is only shampoo in the bottom of the shampoo, it will not pass security checks at the airport and will be confiscated from you. However, after passing the check-in, you can buy a drink at the airport and take it on board.

### Are electronics seriously interfering with navigation systems? Can I have a laptop with me?

Electronics, such as laptops, cameras, and cell phones, will not harm the aircraft and may remain in your carry-on luggage. However, this no longer applies to wireless mice, bluetooth headphones, laser pointers and radio transmitters. Restrictions may also apply to lithium-ion batteries that power your electronics. If they have an output of more than 100 Wh, they may not be allowed on board.

### Can I lock my luggage or will it search?

Most hold baggage is checked in without being opened by airport staff. However, your luggage can be searched at any time. If you want to lock it, get a lock that the airport security service can open, such as Travel Sentry. Otherwise, you risk returning your luggage damaged or delayed.

## Traveling with children

### Is it true that a child can fly alone under the supervision of a flight attendant?

This is a paid service and must be ordered in advance, but yes. This is done by the airline employee picking up the child at the airport and performing all the checks to the deck. There, the child is cared for by air staff. After landing, the child, again accompanied by an airline employee, is taken through the airport and handed over to the person who was previously mentioned as the recipient. This service is usually mandatory for children aged 5-12 who travel alone or without a legal representative. If you are interested, contact our customer service, who will advise you and help you choose a flight.

### Can I take more than one toddler on board as an adult?

As an adult you can travel with 2 children up to 2 years old. However, you must buy a ticket for one of them as for a child under 12 in order to be entitled to a seat. For safety reasons, it is not possible for one person to hold two children during the flight. A complete exception is some airlines, such as British Airways, which require at least 1 adult to travel with each toddler.

### Can a child under 2 have their own hand luggage?

Unfortunately, no. You have to fit all the things he will need during the flight into your own. Up to children over 2 years of age have the right to carry luggage.

### Can I take food for the baby on board?

If you are traveling with a child under 2 years old, you can take breast milk and baby food in any volume on board. However, the security check may ask you to taste both in its presence.

## Traveling with pets

### Do I have to book a flight with my pet in advance?

The airline must first confirm to you that it can transport the animal. The reservation note must include information such as the dimensions of the crate in cm, the total weight of the animal with the crate, breed (in the case of a dog). The airline may refuse to transport the animal. Therefore, it is better to pay for the reservation only after the company confirms the transport of the pet. If you are taking a trip on your pet, contact our customer support, they will help you arrange everything.

### What documents must an animal have in order to fly?

If you do not have checked baggage, you can go straight to the security checkpoint, then to the appropriate gate and to the plane. Your identification number and the boarding pass you have printed entitle you to go directly to your place on the plane. If you have luggage to check in, you will often save some time here as well, because some airlines have a designated counter or workplace where you can drop off your luggage without having to go through the entire check-in.

The online check-in system will save you a lot of time at the airport, but don't rely on the fact that you can arrive at the security check ten minutes before the departure of your aircraft. Even if you have carefully checked everything and have your boarding pass in hand, you must adhere to the times set by the airline. You must be at your respective departure gate no later than 15 minutes before departure, but some companies even require an hour.

Remember that there are also deadlines by which you must hand in your checked baggage at the latest. Even if you checked in online, the recommendation to be at the airport two traditional hours in advance still applies. In general, flying is safe for pregnant women, it does not endanger the mother or the fetus, however, it can contribute to conditions that can seriously endanger pregnancy. The risks are mainly due to large pressure differences. In early pregnancy, bleeding may occur; in the higher stages of pregnancy, there is a risk of premature amniotic fluid drainage. The length of the flight can also fundamentally affect the health of the expectant mother, the risk comes from a long session, when blood clots can form.

Until the 28th week of pregnancy, women can fly practically without restrictions; between the 28th and 36th week of pregnancy, you must have a medical certificate for some airlines. Most airlines refuse to transport a pregnant woman from the 36th week of pregnancy.

However, it is always better to call the airline in time to find out how many weeks of pregnancy you will be transported and if you need a medical certificate.

The basic and important instructions for traveling by plane are to follow the drinking regime. Book a seat at the aisle so that you can walk around the plane at least every half hour, and move your lower limbs while sitting, which is important for blood circulation. Basic English words for air travel

Vaccination

No vaccinations are mandatory for Ethiopia. The official evidence of your state of health is an international vaccination certificate with a yellow fever vaccination record, which is recommended, often required if you are coming from a country where yellow fever is high.

Vaccination against cholera and travel diarrhea, against hepatitis A + B, typhoid fever and tetanus is also recommended. For up-to-date information on vaccination, please contact the specialized travel medicine centers, the regional hygiene center or the vaccination center directly.

What to watch out for before traveling to Ethiopia

A passport is such a foundation, but still (or perhaps because of it) we often forget it. Prepare it in a prominent place and be sure to check its validity. We recommend that you also have a copy or a second passport issued before you leave (this is useful when traveling between states that are not in love). You can then carry a copy of your passport with you everywhere, while keeping the original in a safe place.

## Vaccination

Before going abroad, it is good to go to a preventive medical check-up. You can also visit your dentist or gynecologist. Ordinary operations often cost quite different money abroad. Tell your GP about where you plan to go, recommend any vaccinations and tell you what to look out for outside Europe. Or stop by one of the vaccination centers that specialize in outings abroad.

## Reduction to sockets

Even if you are only traveling in Europe, you may not be able to insert your mobile charger into a power outlet in some places. There are many different plugs in the world that differ in shape, safety and connection style. Find out in advance what sockets will be waiting for you in your destination and get the appropriate reductions.
